What are Community Forums?

Community Forums are public meetings held by the Council. The role of the Community Forum is to build strong links with local communities. The main role of the Forums is to consider the impact of services and policies in the area as well as look at wider partnership issues, to make proposals to meet local needs and to act as an additional means of consulting localities on proposals and policies. Proceedings of these meetings are reported to the Cabinet, ensuring that the comments of local people are heard and considered as part the decision making process. Contact for further information: Hazel Lavelle, Community Forum Co-ordinator, Tel: (01432) 260167, Email: lafs@herefordshire.gov.uk or see the Community Forums page of the website.
