Although the State of Colorado has not established “requirements” for mediators, the Colorado Council of Mediators (CCMO), the Colorado Bar Association and the Judicial Branch of the State of Colorado developed Training Guidelines. These Training Guidelines are utilized by CCMO as requirement to designate Professional Mediator status. You can go to the CCMO website and look at TRAINING GUIDELINES (see also the RESOURCE GUIDE).
