What are Class 4 Noxious Weeds?

0

Class 4 noxious weeds are plants that pose a threat to primary production, the environment or human health, are widely distributed in an area and are likely to spread within the area or to another area. They may be weeds that are relatively common but have not yet reached the limit of their range or weeds that may impact on parts of the State but not on others. Control may be difficult and it is often unreasonable to eliminate all areas at once, with programs progressively destroying infestations. Note that some of the Class 4 Weed Control Plans address more than one weed species, for example all prickly pears are discussed in one plan. There are 15 seperate plans available below for downloading. Contact details Graham Prichard graham.prichard@portstephens.nsw.gov.
