Some cleaners (often referred to as “natural”) contain citrus extracts and citrus cleaning agents. Citrus extracts found in most cleaners are typically either d-Limonene, or some form of terpene. Terpenes are the oils from citrus rind. The terpenes created in nature may be effective on greases, oils and some adhesives, but most are quite flammable. The terpene, d-Limonene is on a list of suspected carcinogens. Recently the California Air Resources Board did a study, showing that when terpenes mix with ozone they create formaldehyde. PowerGreen H2Pro products do not contain terpenes, d-Limonene, or any citrus or pine cleaning agents.
