What are Child care Subsidies and Child Care Assistance Programs?
Child care subsidies and assistance programs are designed to help low–income parents with the cost of child care for all children ages 12 and younger, and for handicapped children ages 13 -14. The primary goals of these programs are to help parents become or stay employed, and to prevent welfare dependency.
