What are Chicago Discount Days or Free Days?
Chicago museums are publicly funded, and required to provide general admission to Chicagoans a specified number of days each year. On those days, many groups visit cultural institutions and lines can be long. We advise that you schedule your visit to museums on other days to avoid crowds and enjoy Chicago CityPASS’ additional benefits not available to free admission visitors (e.g, Fast Pass admission, VIP entry, Omnimax, Underground Adventure and more).
