What are Cherubs and Cherubim?
Cherub is singular and cherubim are plural. They are heavenly beings who surround the throne of God. Lucifer (now Satan) was once a covering cherub, perhaps the highest of the cherubim. Ezekiel 28:14 Two cherubim made of beaten gold were fastened to the Ark of the Covenant, the place where God dwelt with Israel. Exodus 25 What are Seraphim? They are heavenly creatures who are associated with the holiness of God. Isaiah 6:1-7. They are associated with the four living creatures of Revelation 4:6-9 Do human beings who die become angels? Absolutely not! There is nothing in Scripture to teach such a thing. Human beings remain human beings in Heaven or in Hell.
