What are Ceres, Pallas, Juno and Vesta, and do I need them?
Some astrologers began to put the “Big Four” asteroids (Ceres, Pallas, Juno and Vesta) in charts in 1974, and many now use them for supplementary information. Asteroids are also called Minor Planets. Chiron, discovered in 1977, is a unique body that spends most of its orbit between Saturn and Uranus, and is being used by an increasing number of astrologers, even many who do not use any asteroids. And in the 1990’s, several new bodies have been discovered and placed in a totally new classification, Centaurs. Astrologers are only just beginning to explore these, so not a lot is known yet.
