The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is planning to widen and upgrade Arapahoe Avenue from Cherryvale Road to 75th Street. This would include sidewalks, bike lanes, curb and gutter, a center left-turn lane and a right-turn lane. However, since this project is not yet fully funded, construction has not been scheduled.
