What are CAs recommendations for the Temp Storage to Hold Directory List parameter?

0

Temp Storage to Hold Directory List is a CA-Gener/OL parameter that is contained on the Performance Parameters screen. Use this parameter to specify whether to move the Directory or Selection List to main storage or auxiliary storage. Specify M, to move the Directory or Selection List to main temporary storage. Specify A, to move the Directory or Selection List to auxiliary storage. There can be a lot of CA-Gener/OL users using Directory or Selection Lists in development, but not many using them in production. CA recommends that for development, specify A for this parameter. For production, specify M. Information on Directory and Selection Lists can be found in the CA-Gener/OL CICS Programming and Applications Guide. Refer to Chapter 3, under the topics Selection Lists and Directory Lists.
