What are Capstone Tests and do I need to take them?
Laurel Springs’ Capstones offer Answer Key Tutorials, which are graphically enhanced teaching modules that reinforce skills and knowledge. High school students take proficiency assessments in their subject areas. As they submit answers, students may view each correct answer along with a short tutorial that reinforces the concept and relates it to other knowledge within the course. In this way, students get immediate feedback and are given the information they will need to master the knowledge on subsequent assessments. The students are not graded on these. The student will take this test at the end of each course. Online students will take the test before lesson 18 or 36. Text course students will go online at the end of their course to take the Capstone tests. The student is required to take them.
