What are cadaver workshops?
They are professional development opportunities for medical staff seeking a non-credit workshop that focuses on working with cadavers. Each workshop is tailor made to meet a groups specific needs. For example, we can review knee and shoulder joints with physical therapists, examine muscle action involved in speech and swallowing with speech therapists, or review the cardiovascular system with ER nurses. Who is eligible? Any certified medical professional who is currently working in the community and has successfully completed an anatomy & physiology course in the past. This includes nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, medical residents, etc. Is there a cost? Yes. There is a nominal fee per person. Who will be my instructor? Veteran GRCC instructor Paul Krieger will teach your cadaver workshop.
