BI Beans are application logic components that can be embedded within an application in order to perform a particular function. This enables rapid development of business intelligence applications. Discoverer uses the BI Graph Presentation Bean as the underlying technology for its graphing capabilities that allows for the preparation of ‘boardroom quality’ reports. In Oracle Application Server Discoverer 10g (9.0.4) there are more than 50 different graph types available for use.
