What are Browns Third Semester Calculus Courses (Math 0180, Math 0200, and Math 0350)?
There are three distinct third-semester calculus courses at Brown: Math 0180, 0200 and 0350. All three courses cover functions of two and three variables, partial derivatives, maxima and minima, gradients, space curves, multiple integrals, calculation of volumes and surface areas, cylindrical and spherical coordinates, and an introduction to vector analysis, specifically line integrals and Green’s Theorem, and, to some extent, surface integrals and Stokes’ Theorem and the Divergence Theorem.
