What are Brandi Shanatas qualifications?
Brandi Shanata has a Master’s degree in Statistics from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), one of the top ten statistical programs in the United States. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Cornell College, where she double majored in Mathematics and Sociology. While her interest has naturally been drawn to working with social science data because of her background in sociology, Brandi’s statistical training at UCLA was broad and she has experience with many different types of data. She is also a member of the American Statistical Society (ASA), a national organization for statistics professionals. During her graduate studies Brandi taught introductory statistics–for both statistics majors and non-majors–and trained other graduate students to teach statistics. This experience enhanced her ability to explain the results of a statistical project in a clear and meaningful way to anyone.
