What are brain waves and what do they do?
We use active, dynamic meditation as part of the training at our courses. This means being active on an inner level, and after you have been trained, to simultaneously remain calm enough to use your full potential consciously in your daily life. Meditation has existed for thousands of years. The goal for many forms of meditation is to experience and consciously control the subconscious mind. The word meditation originates from the Latin word meditare, which means to go inward towards the middle – to center the activity of the brain. This is one of our important goals in order to attain inner peace. It is in addition important to have access to all levels of brain wave activity (measured in cycles per second or hertz), presented here in five main groups: Gamma (30-40 hertz, high Gamma 40-50 hertz) is associated with good memory and a good learning process, among other things. Gamma activity increases while we are under great pressure and is also linked to awareness and ingeniousness. Hi
