What are Bookins quality standards?
— Books — Books you trade must be in good or like-new condition. This means no torn covers, missing pages, stains, broken bindings, or writing in the margins. People who ship books in poor condition will have their membership cancelled. Okay to Trade: – Only minor signs of wear – All pages attached to the binding – Some dog-eared pages – One or two small stains or minor tears – Stamps from used bookstores – BookCrossing labels – Inscriptions (for example, your name, or a birthday wish) Hardcover books with missing or torn book jackets are okay as long as the rest of the book meets above conditions Library books, with or without lamination, stickers and markings, are okay as long as the meet the above conditions Not Okay to Trade, Books With: – Underlining or highlighting – Loose or missing pages – Broken spines – Excessive warping – Spills or stains that prevent words from being seen – Extensive discoloration due to age or exposure – Excessive dog-eared pages – Writing in margins –
