If you do not have bleached knots you will see a dark dot on the skin, however, bleached knots does not mean the knot is totally bleached out. Usually the knots are just a shade lighter than the rest of the hair. If the knots are single knots at the hairline you do not need to bleach the knots, dabbing foundation based powder on the knots with a brush; bleached or not helps hide them as well.
