What are Blackout Blinds?
Blackout blinds are window blinds that have slightly larger slats (think 2 inch or 2 ½ inch) and that have either no holes for the strings (called routeless blinds) or have cloth tapes that go over the holes to reduce the amount of light that’s let in through those holes. Blackout window blinds operate just like regular window blinds, except they block out more light when closed. Blackout blinds are ideal for bedrooms, game rooms, family rooms, and any room where you may want to be in complete darkness.
