What are biodegradable/compostable food service ware products?
Coated and uncoated paper or other natural fiber products, and bio-based plastic-like products that are clearly labeled, preferably with green BPI* symbol or other green color mark to distinguish product from traditional plastics, as biodegradable or compostable that meet ASTM-Standards under state labeling requirements (AB 2147 – 2006).
