What are best ski resorts for young children in Europe?
I’ve recomended this resort so many times now, but it is perfect for your situation. Flaine, situated in the French Alps, is perfect for young families. With plenty of green runs, which are free to access it offers brilliant resources for beginners. There are several ski schools, with easy access (literally a walk out of your hotel). The kids will soon build up there confidence with the ski school, depending on how old they are and be able to do their first green run (easiest), which is free (you don’t have to pay for lifts). If not, there are several nursery slopes, one large long one, at the bottom of the resort (with a free chair lift to the top) which is fantastic for beginners. Once you become more experienced there are plenty of runs further up the mountain (with breath taking views), doing this you’ll have to pay for a lift pass.
