Avista Utilities’ primary market area covers more than 30,000 square miles, with energy generation, transmission, and distribution facilities in four Western states. The company serves more than 335,000 electric customers in eastern Washington and northern Idaho, and provides natural gas service to over 304,000 customers in eastern Washington, northern Idaho and throughout Oregon.
