What are authorizations?
A merchant honoring a QuickCash MasterCard® Card card should first obtain an approval or “authorization” for the transaction. This is the amount that the merchant puts through against your account to validate that you have enough funds to make the purchase. In no event will a transaction be authorized in excess of the amount that is available on the QuickCash MasterCard® Card account. You should be aware that authorizations for certain transactions may be greater than the final purchase amount, and the amount of the authorization will be applied to your QuickCash MasterCard® Card card for seven days, or until the completed purchase transaction is posted.
