ASTSIF will strengthen partnerships between Aboriginal employment service organizations and employers through training-to-employment programs linked to concrete job opportunities. It will also focus on projects that support innovative ideas and approaches to delivering Aboriginal labour market programming and will provide training for individuals facing barriers to employment such as low literacy and lack of essential skills for employment.
