What are arts classes like at the MSSPA?
The arts curriculum focuses on the Point of Creation. Courses of study are designed to specifically enhance students’ ability to create their own work. Students are required to fill at least one block with an arts course such as playwriting, acting, scenic/lighting design, costuming, modern dance theory, modern, jazz, tap or ballet technique, music theory, music history, applied music skills.
