What are Articulation Agreements?
Articulation agreements are formal agreements between Mercer and other colleges and universities. These agreements ensure that, if you successfully follow a prescribed program of study at Mercer, you will be able to transfer with full junior status. Some agreements detail exact course equivalencies while others are more general. Detailed program information about Mercer’s agreements is available in SC 229. Some colleges and universities enable you to check which Mercer courses are equivalent to their courses on the Internet.
Articulation agreements are formal agreements between Brookdale and other colleges and universities. These agreements define how the courses you complete at Brookdale will be evaluated for transfer credit when you transfer to a participating institution. Generally the agreements are either program agreements or course equivalencies. Some colleges list course equivalencies with Brookdale on their web sites. It is important to understand that while courses may be equivalent, they need to be used in conjunction with the curricular requirements (see respective college catalogs or curriculum sheets) of the major you transfer to at the four year school. Your counselor can help you select courses that will meet the requirements of your transfer institution while also filling your Brookdale graduation requirements.
