What are article reviews?
Article reviews are an important assignment intended to make students aware of current scientific news. These assignments are due every other Tuesday, unless otherwise noted. They are worth 15% of the term grade. For each article review, students are required to find a brief science news article. Sources include the newspaper, the internet, or magazines. I encourage everyone to check out the website www.ScienceNewsforKids.org for articles. Students must then provide a brief (3 sentences) summary of the article, a brief statement as to why the article is important, and a personal opinion of the article.
