What are Article Databases?
Article Databases, also know as Periodical Indexes, are collections of articles that have been published in print periodicals (journals, magazines, newspapers, etc.). Some databases specialize in a particular subject or type of periodical, such as Health Source Nursing and Newspaper Source. Other databases are general in nature, including different types of periodicals on a variety of subjects. Examples of general databases are Academic Search Premier and ProQuest. See the Databases by Subject page for help in selecting databases.
