What are Area I / II / III courses?

The Faculty of Social Sciences designates courses as being either Area I, II or III for purposes of satisfying SS degree requirements. All Humanities courses are considered Area I and all Science courses are considered Area III. Social Sciences courses are classified as either Area II or Area III depending on their content. Some Fine Arts courses are considered Area I courses. Click here and scroll down to find a list of Area I, II or III courses.
