What are AQMs programs?
Advanced Quantitative Methods (AQM) is a full time, mulit year program of interdisciplinary doctoral training offered jointly by the Graduate School of Education & Information Studies and the Department of Psychology at UCLA. The program is intended for graduate students who want to become expert methodologists with a thorough understanding of substantive education areas and educational policy issues. This Ph.D degree program is housed in the Social Research Methodology division in Moore Hall but has classes in both Moore and Franz Hall. At this time we don’t offer any part time study in the AQM program nor have evening classes. We also added a new two-year fellowship at AQM. It’s for current UCLA doctoral students who have completed most of their own home department’s required coursework and will soon plan or begin their dissertations.
