What are appropriate “parting” gifts for boss and coworkers?
I am going to suggest the Ripleys Believe it or Not and Guiness Book of World Records coffee table books. They are some of the gifts that I keep on hand because people of all ages are fascinated by them. Your boss probably requires something more personal, and I don’t know if it’s a he or a she. Women always enjoy Bath and Bodywork’s, or the Body Shop type of things, and fruit scents like mandarin are a pretty safe guess. Add some candles, chocolate, and a nice card expressing your appreciation. Men, I discovered, like gadgets and toys no matter how old they are. You could probably find something suitable at Sharper Image or Brookstones. The last “man gift” I bought that was a big hit was a remote control helicopter that fly’s indoors.
