From 1 July 2007, Apprenticeship Training (Fee) Vouchers valued, at up to $500, will be available to eligible apprentices undertaking an Australian Apprenticeship in a skills shortage area as defined by the National Skills Needs List (NSNL). Australian Apprentices, of any age, who commence their first or second apprenticeship year on or after 1 July 2007 may be eligible for the Apprenticeship Training (Fee) Vouchers. The voucher will entitle eligible Australian Apprentices, or their employers, to claim up to $500 per year for course fee costs incurred as part of the first and second year of their Australian Apprenticeship.
