What are Animal-Assisted Activities (AAA)?
Animal-Assisted Activities are not supervised or documented by a professional. Clients gain confidence in the presence of a calm therapy animal that does not judge them, and will often do things with or for the animal that they otherwise would not. Many beneficial results can be realized when traditional therapies are enhanced by the presence of an unconditionally accepting therapy animal. AAA is the acronym for animal-assisted activities.
