I think the best way for you to budget is shop at cheaper stores, if you need to. I suggest Ross, Target, Forever 21, Charlotte Russe and Papaya. Always check out the clearance section first, in any store! If you’re going shopping I would definitely think about visiting Forever 21 because they have a bunch of great tank tops and some of them are really cheap (under $3). I would definitely go for the layering look, with a couple of tank tops underneath a shirt. If you can survive with not wearing graphic/screen tees, definitely go for it. My policy is to wear only basic shirts or shirts with no logo. Sometimes I make small exceptions. I usually don’t wear shirts with any phrases, except for ones that promote environmentalism. Consider doing something like that in order to be able to wear the few shirts you get new, more times because no one will remember what it says, etc. You may also want to buy a couple of good quality jeans and also wash them inside-out.
