What are Alpha Delta Phis membership requirements?
As is the case with almost all other fraternities, after a student accepts an invitation to join Alpha Delta Phi, he must sign a Contract and Covenant of Pledgeship, pay a one-time initiation fee, and successfully complete a brief associate membership (“pledge”) period. Alpha Delta Phi’s pledge period spans the first six (6) weeks of autumn quarter. During that period, the associate members are taught about Alpha Delta Phi’s history, traditions, chapters, and songs. The curriculum and minimum initiation requirements are mandated by Alpha Delta Phi International. The associate members are quizzed weekly about the materials, and an associate member must achieve satisfactory test results to be considered for full membership. The associate membership program is positive and constructive, and simply endeavors to prepare the associate members for their life-long affiliation with Alpha Delta Phi.
