Argentina, Netherlands, Ivory Coast and Serbia & Montenegro for group C. Portugal, Mexico, Angola and Iran for group D. Italy, Ghana, Czech Republic and USA for group E. Brazil, Australia, Croatia and Japan for group F. Switzerland, France, South Korea and Togo for group G. And Spain, Ukraine, Tunisia and Saudi Arabia for group H. This world cup was won by Italy when they defeated France in the finals in a penalty shoot out. Germany the home team had placed 3rd in the competition after France who stood 2nd.
