What are all the meanings of the acute seven pointed star Danny Carey uses?
There’s several meanings of the heptagram. It can refer to the seven traditional planets, or to angel magic, which is often closely associated with planetary magic. Otherkin have also adopted the symbol. However, in doing a quick google search of Danny Carey, the symbol I see him use is not a seven-pointed heptagram but a unicursal hexagram: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unicursal_h… It’s meanings are similar to regular hexagrams, except that it is made without lifting the pen from the page, as opposed to a standard hexagram, which is two overlapping triangles. There is more emphasis on unity, rather than two halves coming together.
