The main three shows that Joss Whedon is known for are Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Firefly. Firefly was cancelled after the first season, but they still secured funding for the movie Serenity featuring the same characters. He also has a show in development called Ripper which focuses on Giles from Buffy, and he’s got another show in development with Eliza Dushku called Dollhouse. Hope that helps.
