What are ALIS and ALISJOBS?
The School of Library and Information Science at the University of South Florida sponsors two electronic mailing lists, known as ALIS and ALISJOBS, for announcements, discussion, and question-and-answer of interest to students and alumni of the USF SLIS. ALIS and ALISJOBS are administered using Lyris software on a computer system belonging to Academic Computing at the University of South Florida. All messages posted to ALIS and ALISJOBS must be of potential interest to students and alumni of the USF School of Library and Information science. ALIS is intended for messages of a general nature, while ALISJOBS is intended only for postings of job positions. ALIS ALIS is an open discussion forum for the Students, Faculty and Staff of the USF School of Library and Information Science. It is established to promote positive exchange and encourages creative and innovative ideas that will benefit the program and assist its future progress.
