Alerts are triggered by events such as a particular stock price change or a predetermined time event such as market updates which occur three times a day. Alerts can be received by your desktop computer, digital cell phone, two-way pager and/or personal digital assistant (PDA). Alerts notify and update you on the stocks and funds in your portfolio anytime—anywhere.

Alerts are messages created in response to an activity performed on LabLife. For example, when a member of your lab posts a message on the whiteboard, you will receive an alert. Organize your new and old alerts with the “Archive” function. You can specify whether or not you would like to receive alerts in your regular email by clicking on “Account” in the upper right corner of your screen, and then using the “Change Email Preferences” link.
