What are accreditation exams and what credit can I get from taking them?
Credit is available by accreditation to students who have already studied certain subjects at the college level. These optional examinations are offered by special arrangement at the beginning of each quarter in which equivalent Chicago courses are offered. In the case of a science course, students may have to complete the laboratory portion of the class during the quarter to receive course credit. More information is available in Information for Entering Students. Students who plan to take accreditation examinations should review material in subjects in which they will take exams.
