What are accountant qualifications?
You don’t have to do accountancy at University to be an accountant. When you join an accountancy firm you will be on a three-year training contract at the end of which you will have a professional accountancy qualification (ACA, usually). After that, nobody will ever even ask you what subject your degree was in. You need to concentrate on getting a 2:1 in a good subject (i.e. an academic subject) at the best University that you can get into. I know accountants who have degrees in Accountancy, Economics, Mathematics, Law, Politics etc (which are the ones you would expect and I guess are the answer to your question if you REALLY don’t care what you study for three whole years of your life as long as it gets you into accountancy) but I also know accountants who have degrees in Zoology, Chemistry and various languages.
