What are Academic Advisors and what can they do for my student?
Students meet their advisors at least once each semester to prepare for course registration. The advisor will provide the following services: Assist with selecting and declaring a major. Assist with developing a long-term academic plan. Assist with the process of adding and dropping classes. Provide options and guidance for students facing academic crisis situations. Provide unofficial transcripts and individualized Degree Audit Reports (DARs) at no charge. Act as a resource for general academic information and interpret university policies and regulations.
