What are Abilities?
Abilities are sort of like a “trait” each Pokemon has. Which ability the Pokemon has is largely depending on what type of Pokemon it is. Many types have only one available ability. Some have two abilities to choose from. Abilities do many things. One causes an automatic attack down one stage on the opponent’s Pokemon when your Pokemon is brought into the fight.
