What are a foster childs rights?
They have the same rights, if not more, then a natural child. To be kept in a safe, clean environment, to have food to eat and an education provided to them, proper clothing and medical care. As far as material things, not a priority, but nice if they can be provided. The monies the foster “parents” get from the state is to maintain all of the above. They are not to spend it on themselves or other children in the home. If the foster child is being mistreated in any way, they have the right to tell the case worker or some other trusted adult of the issues and get reassigned.
