What are 3 uses for plane mirrors besides looking at ourselves?
Early-model solar reflection power facilities used hundreds of articulated mirrors surrounding a tower with an electrical generator at the top. By concentrating the Sun’s energy on the small generator, they heat liquid sodium, which is a superior fluid when generating electricity, compared to water. Thing is, you need to get the sodium *very* hot before it becomes fluid and useful. That’s one use. I’m afraid that I can’t actually come up with any others that don’t involve simple optical reflection like looking around corners. That seems to be to be basically the same type of use as looking at yourself.
