Well, “interesting” is relative–what I find interesting another person may think boring, or not worth noting. So keep in mind that these are things which I find interesting. 1. Women’s fashions changed drastically. Hemlines rose higher than they’d ever been, and dresses which showed a lot more skin (mainly arms and legs and cleavage) became popular, which many people found scandalous. They also started wearing makeup, which was formerly considered something only prostitutes did. 2. For the first time in US history, short hair for women became popular, and many women cut off their hair and bobbed it, which is a short type of haircut, and a big change from the long hair which had pretty much been the standard for women…always, and not just in US history, but world history. 3. Women were granted the right to vote in 1920, which was a big change. They’d been working toward that goal for a long time, but it was finally realized. 4. Liquor was illegal in the US during that entire decade,
