What approvals are required, and when will the acquisition happen?
The target completion date for the acquisition is January 1, 2004. Approvals are needed by the NH Public Utilities Commission, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Also, the parties have recognized that the NH Legislature will need to make some changes to governing laws in order to enable the transaction to close.
