The information below explains the levels of hardware acceleration available in Windows XP and Vista. This can be used to work out if certain applications will work with DisplayLink displays. Solution: Interface Windows XP support Windows Vista support * DxVA No Yes, if supported by the primary graphics card Direct 3D No Yes, but not if the DisplayLink screen is primary DirectDraw No Yes OpenGL No Yes, but not full screen, windowed only GDI+ No Yes, but not full screen, windowed only * This is in Vista aero glass mode.
