What animals apart froms cats and dogs are good for people with allergies??
Hello; first off, I am sorry to hear and I sympathize about your allergies. I have several animal related allergies myself, and my cousin does as well so I know how miserable it can be. 🙁 Have you considered a lizard of some kind? They are hypo-allergenic and honestly make great pets. As far as individual species go; I would highly recommend a Northern Blue Tongued Skink. They are often referred to as the ‘Cadillacs of the lizard world’, and are very intelligent, docile, interesting, hardy as long as their care needs are met, can be housed in a 40-60 gallon tank, are almost dog-like pets, and can even be hand-fed by their owners because of how gentle they are. They are omnivores and eat a mixture of greens, meats (chicken, high-quality cat food, snails, sill/wax/butter worms, etc), and fruit.
